Dive markers on shore show the location of the Gulf-side reef.
The reefs are home to many types of marine life, like this Remora.
Fish on Gulf-side Reef
The reefs are the result of the Navarre community working together since 1999. The Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary Committee, a committee of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc., was formed to administer the project.
Navarre Beach Reefs
Navarre Beach is home to three near shore reefs, two sound-side and one Gulf-side, perfect for snorkelers or divers. Tiered reef modules, also known as Walter Eco-System Reef Modules, were used to construct all three reefs.
